this album had sold the most albums the week in '87 but apparently whitney houston's album "whitney" deserved the #1 spot and guess what... SHE GOT IT! this proves that heavy metal doesn't get the respect it deserves which is b. s... so if you like glam metal then go out and buy this great crue album!

According to Billboard, she is the most successful female solo rock artist. Her voice was as powerful as Whitney Houston, she still would have been out even if Heart came out a few years earlier.

Ann Wilson is the best voice hands down of all the voices I see listed here. In fact the top 3 all time should be Ann Wilson, Patsy Cline (how she didn't make the top 10 let alone the top 100 on this site is ridiculous) and then Karen Carpenter. The only other voices I would consider in the vicinity of these greats would be Whitney Houston, and Cristina Aguilera. The rest of this list is insignificant. These would be my picks for top 5 all time. Judy Garland would be in my top ten.

Not only is Celine Dion the best female singer of all time, but she has been active in the show business for more than 25 years. Unlike Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey, her fame, talent and her worldwide success hasn't messed her up in the head! Don't want to take away their talent, but Houston and Carey have had severe problems (drugs, depression, crazy husbands, divorces). Celine has stayed true to who she is and has been living a quiet life far from problems, scandals and bad press.

sarah can sing high notes either difficulties just watch in the you tube as you can see the true power of singing... I bet sarah is the only women can do ridiculous voices just like celine dion whitney houston and beyonce even regine velasquez.. but the most ultimate voice I ever heard was she sang with her own way of singing I matter that sarah can be the no. 1 singer in the world... I like sarah very much cause she has faith and humble...
