The influence the Beatles had and have on the world is beyond measure. Whether you like them or not, The Beatles wrote masterpieces that will survive till the end of time. They gave garage bands the energy and drive to pattern themselves after them.. People tuned in the Ed Sullivan show by the millions to watch them as they evolved musically over the span of their careers. To compare the Beatles with Led Zeppelin is like comparing Michael Jordan with (enter any player). There is no comparison because they stand alone in rock history.
