ah yes, the rivalry of metallica and megadeth. well without dave, kirk woulnt of got started, and kirk usauly only makes solos to the songs written by ulrich or hetfield, but the only riff he did write, was metallicas best riff. howether, mustaine was, is, and always will be better than kirk or hetfield. his music is genuinly better, but his best albums were with marty friedman, and he's gone now. really in the end, this rivalry is a stupid revenge on metallica due to mustaines booting from the band... but megadeth are better!

metallica arnt thrash anymore. they stopped after justice and now they have released death magnetic which isn't as good as there previous albums. if they kept on going, they would be awesome, but megadeth had stuck with it with the best trash songs in rust in peace, the quality metal of countdown to extinction and the insane thrash of endgame. plus all the albums inbetween(except youthlansia which wasnt really thrash and to be honest countdown want either)and youve got the best thrash band ever to exist!

Metallica is the best. The fans of Megadeth are only mad at Metallica because Mustaine got kicked out for drug and alcohol abuse. Serves him right.

metallica is the only metal band that has the absolutle BEST song of each metal category: Balad: Fade to Black Brutal Thrasher: Fight fire with fire Epic: Ride the lightning slayer and megadeth can't compare.. I'm sorry. Metallica is #1 and always will be.

Such a great song... , one of their best hands down, I don't see why no one else picked this. such a melodic peaceful intro that turns into a violent outbreak of anger and brutality. a must listen to for new megadeth fans

I agree that the solo is amazing; Not only does it sound awesome, but it was also put together incredibly well. Did anyone else notice that the solo lasts exactly 60 seconds and is subtly structured into 6 equal parts at 10 second each? Just a little trivia I realized while listening closely one day. Anyway, it flows very well, too. Best Megadeth song overall!

If you think Megadeth doesn't deserve to be here you obviously are stupid or are not a metal-head. If you want proof that they should be in the top five listen to Hanger 18, Tornado of Souls, or Peace Sells... But Who's Buying.

Megadeth is so kick ass its not even funny. the intensity of some of their songs like holy wars, hanger 18, peace sells, and rust in peace is just overwhelming, truly an amazing band.

Kirk can't even compare to Daves awesomeness, such a big loss to metallica for kicking him out, megadeth rocks

Stop your Nagging pooisgood. No One Could ever be better than Kirk Hammett. Dave Mustaine is such a rip off. If he's so good, why didn't he and his band become better than metallica? Think about that. Hammett made Master Of Puppets, One, Sad But True, Enter Sandman, and all of the bests! Without Hammett and with Mustaine staying on Metallica, Metallica now would just be a piece of crap with all the girly voice and the crying, dirty sound of his riffs and solos.
