TRIHEDRON was not part of my plans way back college but when I got to know the people around this organization, I convinced myself to be a part of this fraternity/sorority. After the initiations, I realized a lot things; that comaraderie does not limit you around the spaces in your classroom, it reaches beyond different communities that the meaning of family is not only "home" but also "feeling at home". TRIHEDRON means:we go bananas when we are together, we sometimes forget the limits of our actions, we face the music of every negations but in the end nothing compares to the brotherhood and sisterhood we share each moment..

When I joined United Ilocandia wayback 1991 in Baguio, I thought I made a big mistake in my life. But as I became active with the Organization I was able to appreciate the benefits of joining the fraternity. There were strict rules to follow specially towards our studies. We should be able to pass our grades otherwise we will be given a Disciplinary Action. Respect and Discipline is always observed. It has molded us to become a leader and a good citizen. Up to this day I'm still active with the organization. We are still doing projects to the communities and schools that we belong. Clean and green movement, Tree planting activities, Blood Donations, Donations to Typhoon victims and assistance to our own Brothers and Sisters who are in need of assistance are among the projects of our organization, that's why I'm proud to be one. Alpha Mu Phi is not a blanket woven from one thread, one color, and one cloth alone. When I was a child growing up in Midsayap, Cotabato, my mother could not afford a nice and expensive blanket for us. Instead, she took pieces of old cloth"patches, wool, silk, gabardine"with sizes barely good enough to wipe off our shoes with. But they didn't stay that way. With sturdy hands and a strong cord, she sewed them together into a quilt or a blanket, a thing of beauty and power that could give warmth in times of chilly days! Now, my beloved anchorians, we must build such a quilt. Let us not allow that we will remain as small patches that symbolize uselessness and a candidate to be filthy rags. But instead be wise as my mother did. Pool the patches and the pieces together, bound by a common thread. When we form a great quilt of unity and common ground we'll have the power to bring a new direction, a renewed Alpha Mu Phi!
