Just to prove how amazing we were I'll name off the bears that made the hall of fame or that should of been there: Walter Payton, Dan Hampton, Wilber Marshall, William Perry, Mike singletary and just about everyone on the 1985 Chicago bears team because everyone pitched in.

The game scores in the '85 playoffs tell the story; 21-0 over the Giants, 24-0 over the Rams and the 46-10 destroying of the Patriots in the Super Bowl. And that was after outscoring their opponents an unbelievable 456 to 198 in the regular season.

85 bears had the best defense in history. Best defensive franchise and great team. Go Bears.

Giants did get lucky, yeah I was rooting for them that super bowl, just lost home in forclosure mess ( California ) and went for the underdog. In truth and fairness ( american exceptionalism ) the 2007 Patriots get my vote for all time best!

18 WINS! No team can beat that. So what if the Giants beat them, they got lucky on a lucky catch. Patriots Will go down in History as the Best Franchise ever.

Even with the shattering loss in the SB, this team accomplished something with the 16-0 regular season that may never be seen again. They deserve to be recognized as one of the greatest teams of all time.

The Steelers in the 70's were a true nightmare for any NFL team, they were like walking into hell itself. If you tried to pass the ball you would get sacked. If you were lucky enough to get the ball off then it was picked or swatted. If you tried to run then let god have mercy on your soul cause you were about to get crushed. The Offense was great to. I mean come on Terry Bradshaw and Franco Harris, and don't forget Lynn Swann. This team may be one of the best teams that will ever exist. Along with the Bears(WALTER "SWEETNESS" PAYTON) and the 49ers(JOE MONTANA^^JERRY RICE).

I think Don Shula is overlooked because he whipped the 85' Bears purty darn good. Coaching has a lot to do w/ who's the best team.

Great all around team! The Broncos where strong on Offense, Defense, Special Teams and Coaching. Elway, Davis, Smith, Sharpe, Zimmerman, Schlereth, N. Smith, B. Romo, Elam, etc. The Broncos beat a great defending champ Packer team!

Best offensive line of all time. (Only 9 sacks all season.. ) (Though the Raider's early seventies line must not be ignored, they were amazing. Debate between whose was better continues to this day. )

Darrell Green and Charles Mann ran the second best defense in the league that year.

Joe Gibbs, One of the greatest coaches and game planners ever. (Common knowledge as he is almost always listed in the top 5 best head coaches ever. )

4 Hall of Famers were on this team: Monk, Green, Grimm, Gibbs. They were the backbone to a very talented team.

Not only did they after 15 games prior to taking out starters allow only 6 sacks(! )they led the league in scoring, barely missed leading in points allowed, but they also nearly finished 15-1 and had several shut outs by wide margins at home to start the season 11-0. Kicker outscored an entire team by himself, special teams, turnover differential, running game and receiver corps were stellar. SB score was deceptive, it was not even close. This Redskin team is easily one of the best in NFL history...

9 Sacks. Art Monk. That is enough for me. They rolled thru the playoffs. No doubt that they would win.

Green Bay Power Sweep at it's best. Defenses knew it was coming, but couldn't stop it.

Easily a top five team of all time. Finished 13-1, 1st in total offense, 1st in total defense, and 1st in point differential. And, oh yeah, ELEVEN Hall of Famers. ELEVEN!

Averaged almost 33 per game, surrendered only 15 points per game. The greatest show on turf put up video game numbers all season as evidenced by Kurt Warner's 41 touchdown passes and a 109.2 QB rating.

Half of this team's offense is or will be a Hall of Famer. And let's not forget that they had one of the top 5 defenses.

The Cowboys are clearly the best, well to me anyway I love the cowboy's so much because dude they play like pro extremely excellent and I highly recommend to go for the cowboys WOOHOO GO COWBOYS!

The team was a missed field goal (Steelers) from a perfect record. It was ranked number 1 on defense and number 2 in offense. The team did not have Jerry Rice. It rolled through the playoffs including a 23-0 beating of the Chicago Bears (the same team that would win the next year Super Bowl) and crush the Dolphins in the Super Bowl.

13 is too high. It's a "team" effort even if the coaches called bad game in the 1999 NFC Championship. Ranking a Super Bowl winner below them is laughable.

Oh come on... these guys showed the NFL that you just need to have a good defense to win the Super Bowl. They worked so hard for it and they did not need anything but a defense!

Wow, the 2007 Oakland Raiders are ahead of the 1994 San Francisco 49ers. Why are the 2007 New England Patriots number two? They didn't win the Super Bowl so they can't be one of the greatest teams ever. The greatest teams finish the deal and they couldn't. Why are the 1984 San Francisco 49ers so low as well? I have three 49er teams in my top ten, yet I only see the 1989 squad.

The Indianaplois Colts are definetely, Hands down, the BEST TEAM EVER! I say that The best Player in the ENTIRE NFL is PEYTON MANNING! I love him! He's AWESOME!

Manning threw 49 TD passes in the Colts first 15 games, but it took Brady 16 games to beat his record. That season was beast.

the raiders had THE BEST PLAYERS THIS YEAR! why arnt they in the top ten? Fred Biletnikoff and Ken Stabler were one of the best pairs in football history! Biletnikoff did cheat, but that made him a true raider!

They scored a total of 9 touchdowns as a defense and thats not even including all the interceptions they had as a defense. In the superbowl they had 5 total and taking back 3 for touchdowns. Decent offense but probably one of the top 5 defenses of all time.

Probably the best Seattle team of all time. Dominated all year with a 14-2Superbowl season. Only to eventually lose a very controversial game in The Superbowl to the Pittsburgh Steelers. They were clearly the better team.
