Vote for 1985 Chicago Bears 1) 1985 Chicago Bears

The game scores in the ’85 playoffs tell the story; 21-0 over the Giants, 24-0 over the Rams and the 46-10 destroying of the Patriots in the Super Bowl. And that was after outscoring their opponents an unbelievable 456 to 198 in the regular season.

I have to vote for my hometown boys. But they were pretty dominant. Its a tough call.

funkmasta98

The best defense ever and they won the SUPER BOWL unlike the Patriots. You can’t consider the Patriots as one of the best teams if they didn’t win the Super Bowl

Crazydudewithabeard

Vote for 1979 Pittsburgh Steelers 2) 1979 Pittsburgh Steelers

4 Superbowl wins in one Decade...Sending 14 NFL Players to the NFL Pro Bowl, and a defensive unit comparable only to the 85’ bears. Quite certainly one the best teams of all time.

I just want to know why the bears are ahead of the steelers because the 70’s steelers were the best ever! GO STEELERS! oh bengals arnt even on here im starting to like this list more

randy

Steel Curtain BABY!

Vote for 2007 New England Patriots 3) 2007 New England Patriots

now come on they went 16-0

joro808

The most shocking loss I’ve ever seen in that Superbowl loss to the Giants. They went 16-0 in the regular season. It was absolutley fascinating to see.

apachereporter

no doubt brady matched with moss and welker is nuts, then that defense, they still had great competition. they beat Peyton and the colts, the steelers, the giants with that d, the cowboys, they werent playing crappy teams, and still had a clean season

jdsoaresfamily2

they were the best team by far in that season. they had a offense you couldnt stop, with elway, davis and sharpe. There defense didnt just hit ya they hurt ya when they hit you.

Vote for 1991 Washington Redskins 8) 1991 Washington Redskins

"HAIL TO THE REDSKINS". One of the last years of the incredible hogs. One of the best lines of all time. Plus the last superbowl for gibbs with yet another QB. Only coach to bring 3 to a victory. So underated and yet what a beautiful franchise tradition those skins have. BOO cowboys! GO SKINS!

Pag1

The 91 Redskins were a machine and they were overlooked by most. This team definitely belongs in the top 10.

Vote for 1999 St. Louis Rams 9) 1999 St. Louis Rams

Averaged almost 33 per game, surrendered only 15 points per game. The greatest show on turf put up video game numbers all season as evidenced by Kurt Warner’s 41 touchdown passes and a 109.2 QB rating.

Vote for 1971 Dallas Cowboys 10) 1971 Dallas Cowboys

The Cowboys won the Super Bowl in 71 Staubach to Drew Pearson. Good combination

After barely getting into the playoffs, this team simply was on a mission to shut up the naysayers. With a young Ben Roethlisberger, and an aging Jerome Bettis leading the way, this team won three playoff games as a #6 seed, all on the road. After destroying Seattle in the Super Bowl, which we all saw coming, this was a team of destiny and although their record was "only"
11-5, they had just the right pieces for just the right puzzle at just the right time

Vote for 1994 Philadelphia Eagles 22) 1994 Philadelphia Eagles

peru12345

The team was a missed field goal (Steelers) from a perfect record. It was ranked number 1 on defense and number 2 in offense. The team did not have Jerry Rice. It rolled through the playoffs including a 23-0 beating of the Chicago Bears (the same team that would win the next year Super Bowl) and crush the Dolphins in the Super Bowl.
