Here's Johnny!
No joke
And this is from watching the trailer
But I was also really young at the time
It was eerie and demon possessed
When it was over, I felt the evil in my house!
Turned gospel music on, LOUD and read my Bible to get rid of the demon spirits!
I am very serious too!
Round we go,
The world is spinning,
When it stops,
It just beginning.
Sun comes up,
We live and we cry,
Sun comes down
And then we all die.

Any movie that still unsettles me every time I hear a noise when taking a shower has to be the scariest movie ever. What an impact, even more than 40 years later.
Very scary indeed. This movie's shower scene is so famous all the way up until now, and will most likely continue to be!
As an adult, this film has creeped me out like no other. Truly terrifying when Arbogast buys it.

Dr Samuel Loomis: "I met him, fifteen years ago. I was told there was nothing left. No reason, no conscience, no understanding; even the most rudimentary sense of life or death, good or evil, right or wrong. I met this six-year-old child, with this blank, pale, emotionless face and, the blackest eyes... The *devil's* eyes. I spent eight years trying to reach him, and then another seven trying to keep him locked up because I realized what was living behind that boy's eyes was purely and simply... *evil*.
The way the story is set up especially in the first 3 films..!
My favorite was SAW II because the ending surprised me that I said what just happened.. Overall AWESOME Movie..!

More comments about The Silence of the Lambsa picture perfect honeymoon develops into a snapshot of terror in this BONE CHILLING SHCOKER from excutive producers of The Grudge & The Ring.
If we're talking about the Thai one, it's one of the best horrors I've watched. I'm not easily scared by films, but this one's got what it takes. It's also created in a very clever way, I love how everything at the beginning gives us the clues about what is happening and why.

This is the scariest thriller ever!

More comments about The Fourth KindBest horror film ever made and I've watched all of the movies on "scariest films" lists, Better than 28 days later, Exorcist, Shining, Halloween, Hellraiser, the Ring, Blair Witch, any zombie movie, etc.
But very scary and on top of that, one of the greatest, if not the greatest story for a horror movie

More comments about Dead SilenceThis movie should be rated higher. This is the only movie I have ever seen where people ran out of the theater, and that was only half way through! Rob Zombie proved that he was indeed as twisted as his music when he brought this movie to us.
yeah scary because I read it is all 100 medically correct and this insane crap could actually happen I think its fairly new and I would not recomend watching this mentally scarring f-ed up movie
sillywalks
Trilogy, The Exorcist, The Devil, Grim Reaper, and The Woman In Black is a hell of a lot scarier than both of them together multiplied by 15.
Radcliffe put in a decent performance and the wind up toys (especially the monkeys were creepy.
I could really get creeped out walking in the dark after I watched that film.
My sister made me watch this with her when I was 7 and now I can never watch it again. With the combination of the time and setting along with being black and white justs gives me chills!
When this movie came out I saw it at only 12 years old. My parents did not know what I was going to see and I looked older than 12. It scared the s*** out of me and is still creepy all these years later. It truly is awful and actually very mean because the last man standing should have lived. It was horrible and should only have been shown with a warning about its bad nature.

What is this movie doing way down here it was a master piece! I loved every bit of it, the horror was placed accurately and I love the gore. Personally I think rec 1 & 2 were better, but for someone who wants to be walking in their own house as if an infected is around every corner the well this is the movie for you. This movie stands on the Paranormal Activity level of horror, but it brings it to you in a gory, fast, & distinct way, this ain't just a zombie survival horror...
~Cmdragonfire
I watched 100s of horror movies like the ring, insidious, the grudge, etc. And they are NOT scary! Quarantine and rec scaried me so much I can never watch this movie in the dark! And I think you should listen to my advice I laughed watching the ring, the grudge, insidious and etc. This is the only movie that can scare me to death!

Just watch it!

Loved this movie...20+ years of watching and searching for high quality horror movies, I was not disappointed.
Such a great sequel. And it features Ken Kirzinger(Freddy vs Jason's Jason Voorhees) as "Pa"

What isn't scary about a dude trapped in a phonebooth by a sniper in the buildings who no one can see? The sniper makes him do whatever he wants, and the scariest thing is his voice. Imagine a bone-chilling, everyday American voice, but calm and evilly saying- "hello stu. " DAMN, this jerked me for ages. I certainly ain't been in any phone booths for a while, and I intend to keep it that way, even if the nearest one is next to my best friends house!

First and last scary movie I saw as kid... still know what happens in front of the mirror, never been more scared after that in my life!
terrified me when i was a kid!
What was once trapped.
Will now be unleashed.
This is the masterpiece of scaryness. The best horror soundtrack ever will keep you frozen stiff! This is the second scariest film after The Exorcist. Unique suspense, perfect soundtrack, EXCELLENT HORROR. Idiots voted for king kong, wrong turn and... Juno?!? What?!
... This movie/book will always be scarier than anything else. Why? Well, for only one reason: PASCOW.
I saw this as a kid, and it scared the hell out of me. I haven't seen it since, but probably because I'm more scared of disappointment than I am of getting scared again (or am I just trying to make myself believe that? )
It's easy to see through "scary" movies to the jump-scares and horror cliches. But this story is truly horrifying. It deals with emotional devastation in a tense, spooky, supernatural setting. What is lost in the end is much more than the lives of shallow characters. This is scary.
With my opinion this is the outta this world vampire movie ever made!
This movie is scary. John Doe gives me nightmares. And who can forget the "What's in the box"!
Wasn't scary, but nasty as hell. - The reason for my vote is simply because it's brilliant. Couldn't agree more with a murder.
monicaaudrey
This movie shattered my youth. It wasn't about gore; it was about scary psychological manipulation. The real-life trail of hauntings, curses and deaths that followed everyone who worked on the film helps, too.
Are you kidding me? This is the scariest film of the 90s! And the most scariest Canadian film ever! Scream was one of the best of the 90s but not the greatest of the 1990s. The begginning is really scary! Cube4Ever!
roblist
that show was scary me and my sis she is 4 and I'm 10 I was so scared and my sis was not scared she was laugeing at me
. . . because it's real. Could happen to every one.
It's scarier than every fantasy monster could ever be.
If you've seen it you're still disturbed - that's the truth - this movie will scar your psyche for life
Scary seeing all of those fit women being eaten alive. Gets you horny though.
A woman whose lsot her daughter struggles to save a child alone from terrible monsters who massacre marines. A terrifying setting and characters you truly care about.
MissAngel
best movie ever. this should be in top 5 movie. I saw this movie when I was 2006th year old now after three years I saw this movie too this is my favourite movie ever and ever. mm
Amazing Movie!
One of my all time favorite.
This movie is done very well and if you get yourself into it... It is very horrifying!
This one has to be higher on the list!
All these other ones are scary adult films, but I this one was, no joke, the genuine reason why I asked my parents to get me a nightlight to sleep with
This movie was so scary I had to keep the T.V. on at night so I could fall asleep!
I really didn't want to watch this but my brother made me!
Saw this when I was a kid and it freaked the hell outta me, I couldn't sleep alone in my room for weeks.
Oh My God! If you want to pee n your pants then go for it, I watched the day before! I still have nightmares! But yeah! Its just awesome! Unless you can't handle horror, then go for something else! I LOVE IT
Oh this movie is awesome I remember I screamed so hard while watching its one scene... I've decided I wont watch it again
God, this movie should be ranked no. 1...! Yeah, I almost died when I saw this movie first time... If you'll watch this movie at night and earphones on then surely you're gonna pee your pants..! Whatever but the story was awesome...! Ahh lamia was really very scary. ,... I'm looking' forward to watch this movie in 3d...!
This is the most scary movie I've watched. Specially the things in the basement. I would recommend to watch this with friends its really fun. At least give the trailer a shot and trust me you wont be disappointed :)
OK... Everyone this is not a scary movie its just that I love Kristen Stewart. The concept was scary though, I love this film. If you want a real scary movie you should see Urban Legends Bloody Mary! It creeped the heck out of me, I couldn't sleep alone for months! The messengers is good though
Ha Ha nice one. Really scairily stupid.

I think the Grudge and the Ring are highly overrated. People need to watch the real horror masterpieces of yesteryear.
