This song is an absolutely, painfully heartfelt yearning to not be where you are. From a band with many powerfully emotive tracks, this one must be considered the most exceptionally brilliant of them all.

This song is depressing because of how stupid it is. The lyrics suck, the reason for this song sucks and it is the third worst song ever made.

My pressing the play button is a... stab... through my own heart. The sky darkens. I feel alone. I'm transported onto a bald mountaintop of dark stone. The clouds engulf my vision. Whatever. I'm possessed by the depressingness of this song. And I don't understand why there isn't at least 15 Joy Division songs in this countdown.

This is one of the saddest songs I have ever heard. I love Evanescence but every time I hear this song it makes me want to cry. This song along with My Immortal. On top of that they are on the same album which makes the whole thing even sadder. Amy Lee sure knows how to make someone break down into tears with her music... Another reason to love Evanescence.

This song is so depressing it's about falling into a deep state of depression that you can't find your way out of this song could easily make it to the top 10

The whole sound of the song is spacy and depressing and corgan adds a wonderful touch of anger to the depression.

Michael Stipe's voice pierces like a dagger and the theme of the song really strikes a note with anyone feeling down. You come out of the song feeling like your day has been lifted a little bit.

This is a good angry depression song. The loud and quiet dynamic of the song is original and fitting to the music.

You can literally feel Corgans pain and anger towards his father and the simple set up and slow addition of the strings section deepen the sound to a sonic nirvana.

This is a sad and very meaningful song, the first verse diarm you with a smile suggests corgan's desire to take every thing against him, and deflect it with love instead of anger. It tells a story about how one hopes to deal with hard things in life.

The singer is singing about his wife being destroyed slowly by anti depressants and you can hear his distain and the country twang that hits home.
