The U.S. is the most technologically advanced military on earth. They have the best training of any military. Best weapons technology and most of all the killing machines (aka the troops) marines. HOORAH. THE INDIANS, WHAT! They come over here to own gas stations. You say we can't fight in high altitudes (we can) but can you swim about 10 miles in at least 50 pounds of COMBAThigh gear getting hit by a wave every few seconds with the water being about 50 degrees. Hm. I didn't think so. The french should be way higher. After all they can surrender in 50 different languages.

The USA Spends more on the military than all other nations combined (including Russia and China)! Wikipedia: defense Spending. Best technology, enormous manpower and bases in over 130 countries! The USA cannot be compared with other nations it is histories only hyperpower. If all other nations would team up against the USA the USA would still end as victor. This isn't even a matter of opinion this is a matter of fact. Those who claim otherwise are dishonest.
The United States has the most technologically advanced military on the planet. It is highly organized, and, provided with a good general, could compete with any nation on Earth including China. Also, an explanation of the Republic of India's number one ranking is sorely needed. A few good pilots are not enough. India lacks organization, China lacks creativity. The US wins, hands down.

US has the tech but is too scared to actually use it and they have unnecessary, meaningless, pointless and completely wasteful wars. They think they are the liberators but they aren't.

Are you kidding me 5th! They have have enough nuclear power to make the world other than russia a nuclear waste land. They have the toughest and the best training in the world. The uk can't be compared to countries like Pakistan first start with technologies the sa80 is far superior to the ak74 or m16 their navy may not be as large as the us but its damn close the astute and type 45 are far better than ships that Britain has sold to India because hey are to old or the uk E. The UK may not match other militaries in terms of size, but it can't anyway. Britain cannot support a military the same size as Russias or Chinas. What Britain can do is build the most technologically advanced fleet or warships in the world (Type 45 destroyer and Astute-Class submarine) and do what Britain has always done best, do what it can with what it has got, that's what has always given Britain the advantage.
The UK probably has the highest skilled Forces in the world, all the soldiers know what they are doing. The UK does not have the biggest or strongest army but I believe they have the most skilled force but there are just not enough of them to be a super power anymore
