Greatest Songs Performed Live

The Top Ten
1 Jackie Evancho - Lovers

One has to see her performance of this sone from her first PBS Great Performances special: "Dream With Me - In Concert", available on YouTube, as well as CD, DVD, and Blu-ray. Taiko drums, traditional Chinese instruments, and full orchestra, with David Foster emcee and musical director.

To say this is astonishing would be an understatement. Audience members who are not in tears by the end often can't remember breathing.

Each time I listen to Jackie's version of this track from the movie, House of Flying Daggers, her vocals STILL send waves of electricity throughout my body!

Jackie has one of the most beautiful voices I have heard! I really like anything she sings because she does it so beautifully! Nancy Fleury

2 Led Zeppelin - Stairway to Heaven

I have attended live concerts with LZ, along with the Stones, Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, Michael Jackson, Sinatra, Beach Boys, Eric Clapton, and even Creedence Clearwater Revival. Yes they were/are all great. Jackie Evancho is absolutely on their level as a performer, that's why real, actual people vote for her.

. Why do everyone on TheTopTens think Jackie Evancho is the best.

Stairway to Heaven @ Earls Court (1975)... Greatest solo of all time...

Obviously Jackie Evancho is number 1.

3 Caruso - Jackie Evancho

So many all time great classics by Jackies. But you'll be humming this in your quiet time all day after you hear it. Hauntingly beautiful! And the song is good too, Ha!

Jackie sings this live on Fernando Varela's PBS Special. Outstanding performance of a difficult Italian tribute to Enrico Caruso!

A most impressive performance by the amazing Jackie Evancho. Forever grateful that Jackie tackled such a grand song.

Her amazing performance of lyrics so intricate with her wonderful voice makes me listen again and again.

4 The Who - Won't Get Fooled Again
5 Queen - We Will Rock You

I love the fact that the sample features a live version! I wish I was in that crowd!

6 AC/DC - Thunderstruck

I like the live versions much more than the studio version.

15 Nessun Dorma - Jackie Evancho

Checkout Jackie's performance of this on Britain's Got Talent, easy to find on YouTube. Her performance that night was unreal. If you watch the video, try to remind yourself its being sung by an 11 year old. Unbelievable. She's simply the best there is.

Jackie still sings this today, at age 17. For six years, she has been getting standing ovations for her performances of this difficult piece.

From her Dream With Me album / Dream With Me - In Concert PBS Great Performances special, available on CD, DVD, and Blu-ray. See the YouTube video.
