This is one of the true classics of the '90s. A lot of cartoons from that decade still hold a very special place in my heart, but only a handful really elevate themselves above the others. Hey Arnold is one of these cartoons. In addition to being a hilarious, romantic approach to the way children perceive their childhood, it's also a very real show, with great themes ^^ moral lessons and well-written stories that allow the characters to emote and feel.
So many cartoons these days come across as junk food. They give the impression that such stories and characters are of no interest to kids, that they only want bright, loud shows with paper-thin plots and weak caricatures. This is why Hey Arnold has lasted as long as it has, and is so popular with fans to this day. It was none of those things, and left fans with something solid to grasp on to ^^ carry with them as they continued to grow older.
Hey Arnold is absolutely the best cartoon to come out of Nick, and its impression on me has left me wanting to see The Jungle Movie made so that this great cartoon can have a proper conclusion.

HA! IS PURE MAGIC... ONE OF THE BEST THINGS OF MY CHILDHOOD WAS JUST LYING IN MY COUCH AND WATCH HELGA DYING FOR ARNOLD (I MUST CONFESS.. I LOVE HIM 2! ) BUT STILL WITHOUT MISSING HER STRONG PERSONALITY AND YET... SOFT AND MUSHY SELF I JUST WANNA SAY THAT I THINK WAS UNFAIR FOR ALL US FANS YOU ENDED A GREAT SHOW LIKE THIS.. AT ITS BEST SEASON, WITHOUT GIVING IT A DECENT AND PROPER END... I WAS SO MAD AND SAD WHEN IT HAPPENS... BRING IT BACK AND YOU WON'T REGRET IT! THE best show. Animated or otherwise. I love all the characters and the writing and the music and the stories. It's just all-around FANTASTIC. I hope we get out Jungle Movie one day.

This show is my life. It has such a huge fanbase, even though it's been cancelled for YEARS! I think this show absolutely deserves an ending (they left us hanging at the Christmas episode! JERKS! ) You gotta love this show. It's the best. Period.
Zim is pure awesome and gir is so cute I really hope that zim wins in the end and not stupid spongebob squarepants because everybody know that invader zim owns the nicktoons universe and spongebob should be at the bottom of the voting list INVADER ZIM forever!

I love this show! It's so funny that I fell of my chair. The characters are so cool especially Sokka who totally cracks me up. I love the romance starting between Aang and Katara. The action is sick as with the awesome bending. And last of all the animals are so adorable and that includes Appa which is a humungous six legged flying bison and Momo which is a flying lemur. I absolutely positively love love LOVE this show. 1000000 out of 10!
Great art, epic idea, and a story line easy enough to follow and remember! I am a total fan of this show, and I think I might fangirl a little too much when it comes to this show. I love the characters especially. But the shippings (parings) I think should change a little, but that's only my opinon. I am a Zutaraian (A supporter of the Zuko and Katara pairing) and I'm proud to say so. I think Kataang(Katara and Aang)was... Eh... Well... It's alright I guess. I can live with it, but my major dissapointment was Maiko (Mai and Zuko). This ship is dysfunctional on so many levels. They've broken up, gotten together and broken up again one too many times in my opinion. And when it first came up in the show, I was like: "What? When? Where? HOW?! " I just can't list every reason here... It would get too long... But back to the show in general. It's epic, and worth watching. Absolutely number one show!
Best ever. It has humor, action, and romance, all packed into 1! The character's characters are so realistic! It's always dynamic, never flat, and always follows up on it's story. Best cartoon I've ever seen. Ever.

Danny Phantom is the best cartoon in Nickelodeon. Also it has some humor, action, romance, adventures, comedy, and moral lessons. Its actually a great show once you see it. I love ghosts.
They might bring danny back because the creator has been acting very weird like on an interview the creator blurted out a few times danny phantom even though it was an interview on tuff puppy also write a note to nick saying you want danny phantom and in the note tape a dollar to it and if you and aton of other phanlovers can team up to bring danny back

Really good show, Should Be #2 Sponge Bob #1 Some of the best episodes were Fake Dad, The Royal Kilted Canadian Yaksmen, and my favorite, The episode where Russian Ren and Stimpy race the U. S. Pigs.
Rain! In Octember! I love Ren and Stimpy. Espesialy the episode when Stimpy looks for Stinkey.

I really can't believe that ATBG is only at the 20th place. This proves to me again that this "cartoon" (personally I prefer animated series, because I feel like this one deserves more than just the word "cartoon") is way too underrated. The storelines are actually something t(w)eens actually can relate to; even I as a 17-year-old can still relate to some of the problems Ginger and her friends have to face (e.G. drinking too much coffee in order to stay up to study, but falling asleep at school). And of course the animation itself is amazing: characters actually have 5 fingers (instead of 4, which most cartoon characters have), characters have an entire garderobe instead of just 1 outfit for the entire series and the mood in some of the scenes gives me goosebumps (e.G. the scene where Ginger reads her And She Was Gone poem).
Conslusion: Vote ATBG up people! It deserves way better than 20th place and only 0,06% of your votes!

I remember being 5 years old. Me and my dad would just laugh and laugh. I am honestly heartbroken that this show no longer airs. But you can still hear the occasional "TATERTOTS GANG! " Scream from my dad. One of the best shows out there.

This should be in the top 5 at the VERY LEAST! It was one of many great shows growing up. 90's cartoons, what an era!
How shows like fanboy and chum chum and tuff puppy are above doug is a complete blaspheme. How doug is rated at number 33 is even worse.
