This song is probably the biggest reason I love Coldplay.
If you ask me, I probably wouldn't know how to explain what the song means, but I think the abstraction makes it that good.

I love this song X and Y is most probably their best album, but coldplay are evolving into something completely different and I prefer their earlier stuff this and twisted logic are amazing songs the same as all other coldplay songs.

Beautiful chorus and just simple lyrics. Makes this song all that more easy to listen to and takes you somewhere without you realizing. Very underrated.

Easily the most underrated Coldplay song, the star here is Nick Champion's consistantly haunting guitar that is present throughout the song.

It speaks for itself. The truth is shared and I don't think there's a better intro chord than what is heard here. Definitely a listen for any state of mind.

In my opinion this is one of the greatest coldplay songs. Even though the collaboration with Rihanna gave it a pop feel and wasn't a true Coldplay song. Peace. Love coldplay. Keep it up guys!

I love this song. I love the "epeche Modesque" electronic feel. I wish the song had repeated the chorus : "I could've been a princess... " later on in the song.

It's no surprise that the songs from Mylo Xyloto begin at the bottom of the list, but seriously, I found this song at 60. I believe that, given time, this song will definitely become a top ten.
It is so emotive and heartwarming, and the sound is overwhelmingly beautiful.

This is definitely one of Coldplay's least complex songs as far as arrangement goes but it does not have to be complex to be powerful. Up In Flames demonstrates most of what Coldplay has to offer. It gives a heartwarming and beautiful piano riff along with very well thought out and emotional vocal performance. Definitely a lovable song.

A very meaningful song! Very relevant in today's world! Everyone who fights with others will, after hearing this song, know the importance of making peace and not wasting precious time fighting. Spectacular!

Most amazing Coldplay b-side IMO. I wish more people knew about it! It's very unique and has an atmospheric feel to it.

It's simple, it's sweet, and makes you want to listen to it over and over again

This is SUCH a beautiful song! It is extremely short but you cannot help but ador the pure acousticness of this song and Chris's voice - this is a song everyone should know and give a listen to.

Not surprised this is down at 43 cause I don't think many true fans voted, otherwise fantastic songs like Amsterdam, Warning Sign, Sparks, Hurts Like Heaven, Lovers in Japan and Life in Technicolor would be higher. I went for Yes because of it's fantastic off kilter rhythm and it is distinctly un-coldplay sounding, and it perfectly sums up the World Music style of Viva La Vida.

Chinese sleep chant part of the song is one of the greatest, and most hypnotic guitar sounds you will hear anywhere

When it started we had high hopes now my backs on the line, my backs on the ropes. When it started we were alright but night makes a fool of us in the daylight. The violin and the guitar in this song are the highlights, as well as Chris's vocal range. This song is by far one of their top 10 songs, up there with Cemeteries and Don't Panic, but I felt bad and voted for this. NEEDS TO BE HIGHER!

I LOVE IT! It's a great song, but it's very short. I wish they spent a little more time on it. When I first heard U. F. O. I thought it was the best song on the album.
