Just switched to Google from YAHOO! (D). Couldn't stand the Statist propaganda anymore.

Other 'home pages' are little more than search sites with no content. Yahoo allows users to select their own profile and how you want it to appear (order). For me it includes: news sources (if you don't like it [liberal, biased], don't select it - I personally selected their NYT, science, space... Feeds); weather; mail; bookmarks (e.G. , daily comics); stocks; calendar; travel; etc. All on one page. Yes they do add a pop-up, but if you move it down, you don't have to see it.

The new Yahoo homepage is just TERRIBLE!

I've been using it for about 14 to 15 years and I can't look at it. They offer NO customization and NO way to go back.

Personally, I prefer to have news updates and articles available when I first open my web browser. Gives me something interesting to browse through. I already have a search engine toolbar so setting Google as my homepage is kind of pointless. Besides, though I use Google for 101% of my searches, I feel like setting it as a homepage would be a little bland. Heck, I'd probably even prefer Bing.

I switched to Yahoo years ago because of email issues. Recently, they've made several changes which I dislike, but there is no option to keep what I did like. Most recently, they changed the homepage newsfeed and it drives me crazy. I'm seriously thinking about changing and am looking for a better alternative.

Its total crap, it's like the old Enquire mag. Its terrible. That's why I'm here looking for a new homepage. I truly believe it's for children. Every day Bieber, gaga, lohan, and I'm so sick of hearing about Jen. Aniston god strike me now.

The new Yahoo format has become the homepage version 0f the National Enquirer (or Fox News) It's a contstant feed of trash news, unreliable sources, unverified facts. I hate it.
It lacks what little customization the old page had. I can't even add new book marks or get rid of old ones. I'm gone as soon as I figure out where to go.

I am tired of the pop ups and page loading problems. I also think they need to find some new journalists to write their stories. Most stories don't cover the whole picture or leave out key details. They also pick a lot of petty stories that aren't real news.

Their stories in news and sports, plus videos have gotten so bad lately that I am looking for a new home page. It's like they are written by spoiled rotten children and not proof read by any adult much less a editor.

This page sucks. They are always adding popup items that are down right annoying!

Cannot understand the interest in Google homepage. I suppose it is all in what you want but like someone else already said, I use Google for my search engine, so it is redundant to use it as my homepage. Besides, I love the content and flexibility of Yahoo. Try it, you'll like it!

Ads and banners dominate the money hungry yahoo makers. Always changing the appearance and simplicity of it to annoying levels. I'm looking for a new homepage as I write this.

New update to the homepage sucks. Have used them for many years and I am not satisfied with the latest update. Switching pages as I just can't stand the look of the new page. Bye Yahoo!

Since the new format change Yahoo! Looks like Google with no customizing. To the people talking about Google's homepage its not the page with the big search bar. They have a page with news etc on it.

The Yahoo Home page was great until they changed it. Its now the worst on the web. Selection of new articles takes you to their mobile site vs. The article and the article you want to look at is not on the mobile site. Is now the worst on the web.

Yahoo has improved their site to death... The sad part is that they are making so much $$$ that they no longer have to care about users. If I go to google, can I transfer mail there? Am not familiar with G at all.

Agree, I'm trying to find a new homepage that allows me to have my email, news, etc loaded similar to Yahoo, without the propganda

I have used Yahoo for years, I'm changing do to Poor covage of the real Issue's and seems to be a lefist site News is suppost to report news not VIEW's

I've had Yahoo homepage for quite sometime, and I've become more and more irritated by its penchant for trivializing the world. I'm here looking for another homepage.

I am here because I am looking to replace yahoo. Pop up are redicoulouse. Advertising is obtrusive.

I don't see it as bias. I believe some people let their opinions regarding politics color everything. I do agree however that the pop ups and silly news has me searching for a new page as well.

The homepage sucks. The news sucks and is liberal biased. The ads are very annoying and no way to change any of it. Hoping to find another homepage today without the garbage.

I hate yahoo now. I have been using it for about 13 years now & I am tired of it changing all the time.

MY OPINION: Yahoo --spam, too much celebrity hype; ads, and news that is not news, bugs and crap, kinda like T.V. and facebook today- useless, time wasting information.
