This is the song Jimmy called his masterpiece, and it truly is a masterpiece. It has deep, emotional lyrics, an incredible double-bass beat, one of the best solos Syn ever created next to Afterlife, and the most powerful ending to any album they've ever created. And it's ranked 17? You guys should really appreciate this song more. Shadows, Zacky and Syn all said in an interview it was their favorite song on Nightmare and that it when through tons and tons of work.

How is this not number 1? Greatest a7x song by far the intro is the best ever and about 446 in till 7 minutes in is the best solo ever! And the vocals are so meaningful.2nd greatest song behind disturbed the night

It's always the less popular songs that catch my opinion. Save Me is by far the best song that A7X has ever written. But everyone likes the Unholy Confessions, the Bat Countries, the Afterlifes. All those popular songs that are only popular because nobody gives any of the other songs a chance. Save Me, just like all the rest of the true A7X great songs are often overlooked.

I've been listening to all the songs on this list from Afterlife all the way down to here, and putting this song here is insane. This is certainly better than Critical Acclaim, MIA, and I Won't See You Tonight, for example, and those are 11-13. This is definitely a top 10 song.

Definitely the best or 2nd best song of Avenged Sevenfold. Masterpiece of epic proportions. I know it's a long song but it's so worth it and great that you barely feel the time pass by. One of the best songs in the world right now. Top notch stuff

How did they get away with an almost 11 minute song? Not that I'm complaining. It's their best song lyrically, but it hurts me to listen to it, because I know I'll never be able to top it.

What the hell you thinking of? This is an EPIC metal song! This masterpiece should be number 1 now! Just listen from intro that's an epic bass, insane drum from The Rev, and it's the 10 minutes masterpiece can make you insane!

This song is an epic work of art. Vocals and lyrics, raging guitar solo, wailing drums, soft sentimental part. The ending with the sick drum fills is amazing. It does not disappoint, you will go back for more.

The second best track on their albumb, should so be in the top five. It has so much meaning and is almost like a rememberance song to the REV. It has everything in it, and the drums are amazing!

Epic from beginning to the end. It takes you through a journey of sounds and vocals that will leave you with a new appreciation for A7X. You'll never hear this one on the radio and for that, I am thankful.

This song is incredible. It's just one on those songs you have to listen to. It's beautiful. Easily one of syn's best guitar solos in this song. Just listen carefully and you will see how amazing it it.

A true epic. The best way to go out on what was to me the greatest tribute album ever written. The last 2 minutes is really hats off material. Surely one of the best songs they've ever written.

Even M Shadows, Zacky, Synyster, and Johnny themselves said this was their best and favourite song.. Come on, afterlife is great, but this deserve in at leas 2 or 3

godly song, EPIC vocals, drumming and shredding. The double bass and technique is just incredible. Rev might be gone but portnoy was amazing on this. kudos

Blistering Melodic solo Syn truly out done himself in this one, also the longest song Avenged ever made that manage to captivate you till the end.
