“Kiss, the most underrated band of all time, defined and changed modern music today, being the most diverse band to ever walk the planet. Kiss has the record for most tickets sold in an hour, selling out 7 stadiums in 1 hour 45 minutes. They also have more gold records than any other band and was one of the biggest selling bands of all time. Their guitarists Ace Frehly, Bruce Kulick, Vinnie Vincent and Tommy Thayer are geniuses of their craft and deserve more than they get. They played pop, ballads, hard rock, and heavy metal too. Alice in Chains is also a band that deserves more credit- Green Day is one of the greatest punk bands of all time first to Blink-182, as well. Metallica is over-rated untalented garbage. Now I do have to admit that some of their songs are good and I enjoy about 2-3 songs. They are heavy, but they are nowhere near as talented as everybody says they are. They are heavy but it is not good along with being heavy. Radiohead may be one of the greatest bands of haunting acoustics ever to live, and I am very upset not to find Fight not in the top 10 for greatest rock bands. They are the greatest heavy metal band ever. Fight was Rob Halford's project after leaving Judas Priest in the early '90s. They only put out two albums but their metal was so outrageously thick that they did not recieve enough radio play to get publicity. They are thicker than Pantera. Most of the bands on this list recieve the credit they deserve- My Chemical Romance is not as talented as their place on this list, but still you can't ask for too much. But I don't understand why Metallica of all bands is at the #1 spot when Kiss deserves more than them. Metallica did not do very much for metal. Kiss defined and helped create music for every genre- and that is one of the main things that should be credited for. Most of these bands are deserving, like Smashing Pumpkins and other fantastic rock bands of the 80s and 90s and of their creativity, but Kiss is no question- they deserve much much more than this. #1 for me.”
