JLS deserve this oppurtunity so much! They're the UK's biggest boyband, the most successful act to ever come out of X factor! They They are all good looking, extremely talented in singing and dancing, they are always down-to-earth and make as much time for their fans as they can.
Their first two singles 'Beat Again' and 'Everybody in Love' went straight to number 1 in the UK singles charts. Their self-titled debut album sold over 1,000,000 copies in the UK. Their second album 'Outta this World' debuted at number 2 on the UK album charts. JLS won 2 Brit awards in 2010 -BEST British Breakthrough Act ^^ BEST British Single. They also won 4 Mobo Awards. Before X Factor, JLS were called UFO -Unique Famous Outrageous- and won their first award at the Urban Music Awards in late 2007 for BEST un signed act. The boys have gone from strength to strength each year being together now for 4 years. They have had a sold out Theater Tour, a sold out Arena Tour and a sold out Summer Tour and will have many more sell out tours to come. They have also had a 3D movie which was originally going to be out for one day, but due to popular demand, it came out over 2 weekends. JLS have an amazing fanbase which has spread across Europe, America and other countries across the world.

I voted for jls because they respect the Olympics because they r true guys the respect all the gb contestants and back them 100% they would love to open the show and let the world show what great talent we have in England! As I no as a huge fan they would do it free or if u payed them it would go to there charity's. Them four boys love sports and would back this up! Let JlS open the Olympics and I no that u wouldn't be disappointed. I could even put money on it if I asked jls they would just write a song for this the Olympics to show how much it mean to them why would u get some one now even from England open the show? Ino it's bringing the world together but u should open it up with world class talent which is JlS! And the best thing for the Olympics definitely boost number of ticket sales I could even bet that u will have more people watching on line and T.V. just to see this Olympics opening and especially with JlS! Come on jls for the opening of the Olympics 2012!

As they would genuinely feel so amazed by the fact they are representing the Britain to the whole world, they are no disappointment to anyone, they would be able to show that diverse culture can bring the whole nation together as they are all of mix race which is pretty amazing, it shows that the cultures are brought into one and they can prove to you, no matter where you come from, to sing and know that everyone will be drawn by their singing would be damn amazing! They deserve this as they are grounded, rooted and still the same as they were before! And they have had a series of awards and top ten singles, they will be dedicated to their roles during the olympics 2012 open ceremonies! Everyone please give them a chance! They also inspire many people in Britain! And have got recognition from the MP during X Factor!

The JLS boys spent their childhoods singing into hairbrushes, entertaining people and playing instruments.. All these years later, they're doing similar things, but on a much larger scale. They're living their dreams. After becoming a national treasure in the UK, their next goal is to break the US. This REALLY could help them get their next dream. They deserve this. They're hard working, down to earth, funny guys. I don't see how anyone can't adore them.
If any boy band get to do this, it should be JLS. The major boy bands in the uk right now are JLS, one direction and the wanted. As JLS have been around longer and has more success than one direction and the wanted, I think it would only bee fair to have JLS perform if a boy band get to do this.

JLS are an inspiration to all young people out there. They have helped so many people in their lives and have done lots of charity work! They have their own charity- the JLS foundation and they inspire young people to be the best they can be. They don't get enough credit for how hard they work and for them to preform would be a dream come true for them all. Their hard work and dedication is immense and they are very talented. From a fans point of view I can honestly say that the Boys will put in an enormous amount of effort into a performance like this like they always do. The JLS boys are the best candidate for this as they are very relate-able to and the athletes will understand them as they too had to work extremely hard to live their dream like JLS! I don't really know how to put this in to words but I'll try my best. JLS mean a lot too me, you can call me sad or tell me I have no life but honestly they make me so proud. Just watching them perform or watching the videos of their new singles I can't help but tear up and I know I'm not the only JLSter that, that happens too. Just seeing how far they've come from watching them on Xfactor at their first audition I never once doubted that they'd get this far and everyday they just keep getting better and better. Their songs can bring my mood up instantly, their tweets can put a smile on my face and their interviews can have me howling with laughter. In my eyes these four boys deserve this opportunity more than any other artist(s) Thank you boys for being a part of my life, I guess?

I think they are England's biggest boyband and huge icons for the entire world! They came from no where and have become huge stars now and they represent Britain with so much pride. I think Britain are so lucky to have 4 such amazing boys amongst us and I think they really deserve to be recognized more by the entire world! They are so incredibly talented words can't explain it and they've worked so hard to get where they are and not let the UK and I'm 200% positive they will do anything to make sure they never let us down. These boys really deserve a chance to represent UK more considering their incredible performance for the Michael forever tribute concert! They are just such lovely hard working boys and would put on the most incredible performance to show off Britain's talent.

Well what I can, THEY ARE AMAZING, they didn't get put together they were bought together by one man ORITSE WILLIAMS! This group came second on the biggest television programme and have become the most successful act EVER to come of the show and have earned the title BRITAINS BIGGEST BOYBAND through sheer hard word and determination, JLS are the best act for the olympics they are talented and hard-working and wouldn't let us down, us JLSTERS will be so proud to see how far they've come standing on that stage singing infront of millions of people, that's THERE DREAM and knowing we could help that come true means a lot to us JLS fans and we will do everything in our power to make sure they get to stand on that stage and sing there heart out. One Direction... They haven't even been around for 2years yet. They've had one number one single? JLS had already had two number one singles, a number one album ^^ a best selling book by that stage. Oritse is the GREATEST inspiration to all JLSters... He created JLS to fund research for a cure MS (a disease which his mum has)

Now more than 3 years on he not only is part of one of the UKs biggest boyband, but he manages his own band, Vida, and still makes time to meet his fans.

The band as a whole are a great inspiration as they were willing to help Oritse in his bid to become successful for his mums sake. They always make time for their fans whether its online or in person and do everything they possibly can to make all us fans happy.

They are AMAZING singers and dancers so why not have them open the Olympics?

These boys deserve it more than anyone! They mean the world to us JLSters and to see them Perform on something they will remember and be gratefull for means everything to us! It even means a lot to me that they have been considered for such a big event that the whole universe is talking about! But then again with their music its very understandable! I think JLS are the most capable of doing something like this since they have pulled out some amazing performances on their own tour and on a vary of T.V. shows! The boys are phenomenal! 5 number ones, 2 BRIT awards, 4 MOBOS, over 50 songs, way more than a million fans, so much merchandise (dolls, condoms, clothing, calendars, diary's, masks) their own FILM, their own jewelry line, they won hardest working act of 2011. They are the biggest thing to have come out of the X factor to this day, yes even better than one direction. You name something, the boys are 99~~ of the time are going to have done it. Not saying that everyone will love the idea of them performing at the olympics, but they deserve it way more than any other artist.

Without a doubt JLS are britains biggest boyband they always give a flawless performance and I guarantee that if they chosen to perform at Olympics nobody would be disappointed because they would bring the place alive! I voted JLS as I feel that they would be great performers at the Olympics. They'd put on a fantastic show! JLS are really famous and would be recognised by many as it is in London and they live there when they aren't traveling. Also they are the most talented boys in the world!
