I Used To Love H.E.R. - Common

Defines Hip Hop

Should be #1

This is a joke this song is pure, real hip-hop. The fact that its not in the top five just shows how much hip hop is dying

What an amazing song. Just the total package great storytelling and lyricism and it actually makes you think. Its one of those songs you really have to listen to its not some crappy snap music and it doesn't have some goofy dance its just pure hip-hop. If your into soulja boy or Dj unk don't even bother cause you wont be able to grasp it I didn't like hip-hop until I heard this song it totally changed my opinion on the genre as a whole it got me into real hip-hop as a whole. This is the best hip-hop song of all time. What is changes doing up there by the way? Its not even the best pac song much less the 2nd best song. Lose yourself is top 100 good its a classic but its not even close to the best hip-hop song. Stan was shadys best song and "many men" by 50 cent was a retards atempt to be deep and it failed, ayp technolgy is junk, crank that just might be the worst song of all time, and if you vote for lil wayne your a moron and the knuck if you buck freestyle he did made me laugh it was so pathetic. Ice ice baby is one of the worst songs of all time and don't even get me started on pop bottles and lil wayne as a wack rapper in general. Also the message should be way higher as well and so should top billin by Audio 2. Stan should be higher maybe about 18 its a crazy story with a twist witch I love and shook ones is top 10 Prodigy in his prime was one of the best. Nas is the greatest rapper of all time and I think the world is yours is one of the best rap songs of all time. But this is no doubt the very best.

I can't believe people would vote for songs by kanye west, 50 cent, eminem, lil wayne, and douche bag soulja boi. Songs these days always have to go with a dance. This song is deep. Not like crank that or stonger, where you just dance. I hate how those types of songs are always popular.
