Reggie Bush? easily the most talented athlete college football has ever seen. amazing cutbacks and field vision. whiped the floor with oklahoma, and woulda beat texas the next year had there not been like 10 missed calls. those refs actually get paid for that?

The Wolverines remain college football's winningest program (869 victories), a source of pride for a fan base often branded as arrogant. The Michigan Man ideal reinforces the perception, and Michigan's constant TV exposure annoys many. Former coach Lloyd Carr was viewed as a complainer and a curmudgeon, and new coach Rich Rodriguez arrives amid some bad p. r.

On the greatest college football program list Oklahoma is #1 and Ohio State is #2. At #3 is Notre Dame, the teams that has won the most championships.

Come on. Do we need to ask this question? It is hands down the biggest college gave every single year. Even if you don't know anything about college football. You have heard about Ohio and Michigan.

Because of the faltering of the Miami and Florida State in recent years, Florida's attraction has grown. Having arguably the best home field advantage in college football and being in the warm weather of the sunshine state makes Florida a very attractive coaching job.

The program with the most wins in college football history and the nation's largest stadium makes Michigan a coaching hotspot on tradition alone. Oh yeah, a win over Ohio State can turn a coach into a hero overnight.

In my opinion, (and in the opinion of many), the 2001 Miami Hurricanes were the greatest college football team of all time. One may argue this, of course, but I don't believe one can seriously argue against '01 Miami being, at least, the most talented college football team ever. At least 6 players on their roster have played in the pro bowl( Clinton Portis, Frank Gore, Andre Johnson, Jeremy Shockey, Ed Reed( N.F.L. Defensive Player of the Year), and Sean Taylor. There may be more I'm not aware of and more on the way. A couple of points to manifest their dominance: After their 65-7 dismantling of #11 Washington in the Orange Bowl, Miami was 10-0. This followed a 59-0 blow out of 13th ranked Syracuse the week before. The Canes margin of victory was greater against ranked teams than against their unranked opponents. The Miami defence allowed 13 touchdowns and Miami also scored 11 non- offensive touchdowns. These figures may be off by one either way since I don't have these stats at hand. But it was truly an amazing display of dominance for a team to score within a couple of touchdowns of what they allowed FOR THE ENTIRE SEASON without their explosive and very talented offense ever taking the field!

VINCE YOUNG - One of the greatest college football players of all time

Nothing beats the rivalry these to teams have. 110 years of hasty attitudes and that intense game in November. It is the greatest accomplishment knowing that for the next 364 days you can hold your head high knowing you beat the "other team". Take a step inside the big house for this game, and I guarantee there will be no doubt in your mind what THE greatest rivalry of college football is. Michigan vs. Ohio State. No questions asked.

by far the biggest rivalry in college football...and in all of sports. Coaches get fired or "forced to resign" because of this game. People cry over this game. Duke vs Unc is ok but thats infrond of like 10 to 15 thousand people. try 110 thousand!!! go blue
